Q: What is the difference between the Handyman and Remodeling division of the company?

A: Remodeling projects require more extensive planning (see Remodeling Process) and have a larger scope of work. These projects generally take longer to complete and include full-scale renovations for kitchens, bathrooms, attics/basements, and sunroom and room additions. 

Handyman projects are classified on a smaller scale due to their short length of time for completion and their lighter scope of work. They often include window and door replacement, wood rot, tile, minor masonry and carpentry and other minor repairs.
Q: Does The Bainbridge Crew help potential clients with financing?

A: The Bainbridge Crew works with over 200 lenders to help home owners obtain the lowest rate for financing their project.
Q: Does The Bainbridge Crew accept credit cards as a form of payment?

A: The Handyman division accepts Visa and Master Card.
Q: Does The Bainbridge Crew handle any new construction?


A: No - The Bainbridge Crew only handles handyman and remodeling projects.  Remodeling does include building additions onto an existing home or structure.
Q: Does The Bainbridge Crew provide references?

A: We are happy to give you a list of references specific to your zip code or project specific for your needs and desires.
Q: Does The Bainbridge Crew charge for estimates?

A: Estimates are free of charge if you own the home for which we are estimating a project. There is a $150 charge for insurance estimates or spec real estate, however the charge will be credited back to your account if you become a customer of The Bainbridge Crew.
Q: What locations do The Bainbridge Crew services?

A: The Bainbridge Crew does work in the Charlotte and surrounding areas.  Please call for specific locations outside Charlotte.
Q: Does The Bainbridge Crew carry a warranty for completed projects?

A: We have a standard 1 year warranty on all labor and materials.
Q: What trades does The Bainbridge Crew not handle?

A: The Bainbridge Crew does not paint, lay carpet, hang wallpaper, landscape, or decorate the home.  We are very happy and prepared to recommend businesses in these trades.
Q: Does The Bainbridge Crew use subcontractors?

A: In-house lead carpenters supervise and perform the work on your project.  We do subcontract some specialty trades but our subcontractors work primarily for The Bainbridge Crew.
Q: Do I have to have my own blueprints?

A: Some people come in with plans but this is not necessary.  Our Project Managers are fully capable of designing your remodeling project along with our two full-time CAD designers on staff.
