The Bainbridge Crew is committed to excellence
It’s not enough to just belong to local and national trade and business associations such as NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry), and NAHB (National Association of Home Builders). We believe as industry leaders we are responsible for shaping the image of the remodeling industry and projecting an image of professionalism and business acumen.
The Bainbridge Crew has been consistently recognized as a local, regional, and national leader in the remodeling industry by these organizations and others. Key staff members have selflessly given time and talents to help staff and events, as well as served in key leadership positions within some of these organizations.
Rick Bainbridge has served on the Board of Directors for NARI and has served on the Board of Advisors for the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce. He has been awarded the Squires Award from the Charlotte NARI chapter for recruiting new members to bolster NARI’s ranks. Jill Bainbridge, Rick’s daughter, acts as Director of Operations for the company. She is a very active member of the Junior League and has served on the East Chapter Board of Directors for the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce.
Ben McCollum, currently Sales and Marketing Manager for the company, has served as the Chairman for Charlotte’s Remodelers Council and served on Home Builder Association of Charlotte’s Board of Directors for two years. In both roles he raised awareness of the growing importance of the remodeling industry, as it had yet to become a billion dollar a year industry; today it comprises tens of billions of dollars of the US annual gross domestic product. He was instrumental in making the Remodelers Council annual Excellence in Remodeling Contest a continued and well publicized success, as well as launching the local NARI Contractor of the Year Awards to create yet another venue for professional remodelers to show off their awards-worthy projects.
In addition, our team of remodeling consultants, CAD designers, and planning coordinators all pursue continuing education opportunities through industry seminars. New information is incorporated into our current systems to reinforce positive processes and replace outdated processes. Because of continuing education, we are able to stay ahead and provide our clients with the latest trends and processes within the home improvement industry.
The Bainbridge Crew has supported many local not-for-profit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, the American Cancer Society, and The Symphony Guild of Charlotte. We take pride in giving back to the community and providing an extra set of hands. Whether it be for volunteer work, in-kind donations of labor and materials, or event sponsorships, the Bainbridge Crew has and will continue to answer the call to lend assistance to our less fortunate neighbors.
Partnering with The Symphony Guild and the ASID Designer House has been our most vaunted and publicly recognized effort in regards to working with non-profit organizations. We have paired with the Guild and the ASID Designer House numerous times over the last twelve years, reaching the level of House Title Sponsor in 1998, 1999, and 2005. The 2005 ASID Designer House, located at 911 Ardsley Road, in the heart of Myers Park, was completely renovated by The Bainbridge Crew. The renovation included the addition of a master suite, family room, sunroom, kitchen remodel, and remodel of all five bathrooms. This project alone won us multiple awards both locally and nationally.
